Little bro

Carter and I worked with horses at Pine Cove together last weekend. What an awesome experience for both of us. I hope we get to do it again. He is coming here next weekend. He says he is craving Aggieland. I said duh. I'm taking him out dancing at Harry's- I'm so excited! I've been wanting him to come see what I do for fun here and to exprerience Texas Honkytonk. And, of course, to dance with me.

Autumn

It is Autumn! I had my first pumpkin spice latte two days ago and hung some fall decor on my front door. The leaves on the trees in my yard are turning red and yellow. Today, I was straightening up my room when my ears heard an abrupt downpour. I opened the blinds all the way and it was so neat to see the rain ripping the straggling leaves out of the trees like snow! That only lasted for a few minutes and I knew it would so I watched intently joyful.

About Planning

James 4:13-16 Semi-Paraphrased
Come now you who [make your own plans], yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring... Instead you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this and that." As it is, you boast in your arrogance and that is evil.

Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in the minds of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

Romans 9:16
So it depends not on human will or exertion but on the Lord who has mercy.

And the Clincher: Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

I'm in Texas

That was a crazy rapid adjustment. My brain and whatever subconscious emotional thing had trouble catching up with my body in the rush into school and country change plus intense amount of dancing with high expectations and the other stuff that's going on all within what 5 days. I'm recovered now though. I just had to sit down and breathe. I'm very happy to be back.
